Mission Statement
While utterly delicious tea drinks are what we sell, the gramstand realizes that the environment in which one enjoys his/her tea is just as important. Therefore, we strive to create a modern day retreat for our customers, a place that reminds you of the small but important things in life that make you feel whole (eg. nature, conversation, music, art, charity, community and childhood).
The gramstand menu features over 50 types of traditional and exotic teas, each handpicked and blended by the owner, Richard (one of the youngest tea connoisseurs, perfecting his art at the Wild Lily Tearoom and the TEA ASSOCIATION OF THE USA), and the menu continues to grow. Fresh snacks and sandwiches are also available for those who come hungry. Featuring a special fast-brew process, all drinks are available to-go, and all tea is available for purchase to take home and brew your own.
Signature drinks include a pear hibiscus tea that changes color and flavor as you drink it, a lychee white tea, a Mocha Earl Grey with whipped cream and chocolate, and the infamous Citrus Berry, whose ice cubes are made of tea and have honey inside for a sweet surprise. Never fear, coffee drinkers; the gramstand also serves "darn good coffee," so tea and coffee drinkers can exist in harmony.
Keep an eye out for customers hanging out with the friendly staff of brewers or surfing the web (the gramstand features free wi-fi for all customers), as well as a rotating collection of art showcasing some of the finest up-and-coming artists in the city.

We pride ourselves on providing customers with unique blends of tea you cannot find anywhere else in the world. All gramstand teas are carefully selected from choice growers around the world, including China, Japan, and India.
